Here it is my new blog on wordpress.  This is cool.  What I did was break up my old blog into three blogs because it was all over the place the old way.  I can focus better this way.  So, here we go.

What I’m doing is trying to get caught up on my photos.  This way I can post what I’m shooting currently without feeling like I ditched those things that were necessary to get to this point.  This art show was done way back on January 2011.  I wrote about it in an examiner story if you want to read and see more.  These are a few just a few shots from that show – nothing extraordinary about the photos but the paintings are really cool.

Here you have some of Teresa Moore’s work (on the right side) among others.

These next two painting are by Dustin Schwartz.  These have really interesting perspective – the tops of the buildings.

This is work by Joseph Powers Bowman.  It is a super detailed ink drawing.  Cool.

The large paintings on the top are by Gladis Alejandre.  I love here style.  This show was put on by Kendra Cryan of Liquid City out of Los Angeles.  It was done at the 2nd Street Cigars & Gallery in downtown LA not far from city hall.

All photos were photographed with my kit lens, EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, on my Canon EOS Rebel XS.  I used my Speedlite 430EX flash on all of the shots too.
